Bet you thought I was talking about workouts! Nope... blog posts! Two today! Bill was right. The blogging helped.
It got me out there tonight. I slogged through a 60 minute run. The legs were feeling quite dead for the first half of the run, then they started loosening up. Humidity has returned as the day grows longer. I enjoyed getting home from my run before nightfall.
Let's see what tomorrow brings.
That's the spirit of getting back into things, just not too much or too fast--though I should hardly be the one to offer running advice to a much better runner than myself.
ReplyDeleteI also enjoyed slogging through a nearly one hour run this evening. Even when I do not have much energy to run (like tonight) I still enjoy being able to run for just the sheer joy of being able to do it.
Guilty - thought you were rockin' the two-a-day workouts...
