You, Yes You... You Need to Watch This.

  1. So the lesson here is that if you are going to be in an accident make sure you are the one who is texting...

On a serious note, there needs to be stricter laws and if you think about it, getting a driver's license shouldn't be so easy.

  2. A little too close to home for me, but thanks for posting it.
Although, I may consider using the video for an employee training session.

  3. Oooh. I keep telling myself I need to stop. This is another piece of motivation to actually do so.

  4. Good video. I agree with Jamoosh, there need to be tougher laws. I don't think cell phones should be used while driving at all.

  5. My best friend lost her mother in law in an accident as she bent over to get her cell phone. She was in her late 60's.

Their life has not been the same since.

It isn't just teenagers. I am guilty of it myself. My son forbids me to have my cell phone if he is in the car with me.

I have to set a good example by keeping the phone in the purse while in the car. Honestly, I think the phone should go back to where I used to keep it... Off... 90% of the time.

Unfortunately, being a business owner makes that difficult, but I can control when I respond to it. Car time used to be the one on one time I had with my kids. It had lately become the time I caught up on making phone calls without an interruption.

Not anymore. It's just not worth it.
